President
Rick Chozick has been in the real estate business since 1986. Mr. Chozick is responsible for all aspects of Chozick Realty's business, including setting and implementing corporate policy, the management of brokers as well as the marketing and sales of property. It is his spirit of integrity, excellence and professionalism under all conditions that reflects the qualities that have driven the company's success.
During his 25 year career, Mr. Chozick has specialized in the sale of commercial, investment and development properties, with a personal sales volume of over $1 billion to date. He has sold every property type for his clients ranging from local investors to multinational corporations. As President of Chozick Realty, Inc., Rick is responsible for all aspects of property sales and marketing, area analysis and negotiations. He also manages the strategic direction of the firm while developing and implementing the marketing strategies and positioning for all of Chozick Realty's clients and listings.
Mr. Chozick has acted as a consultant for investors, non-profit organizations, municipal agencies and REIT's as well as Fortune 500 companies. He has actively managed multifamily and industrial property for third parties, being responsible for all phases of management. Mr. Chozick is a principal of our affiliate company, CR Realty Management, LLC. Rick holds brokers licenses in Florida, Massachusetts and Connecticut. Rick sits on the Board of the Coillition of Connecticut Property Owners and is a past board member of the Commercial Council of the Board of Realtors. David Chozick
Chairman
As the founder and guiding force behind Chozick Realty, Inc., David Chozick has earned a reputation for outstanding integrity and an uncanny ability to create value and forsee changing directions in a variety of real estate markets. It is his vision of the company in 1967 that set the foundation for the company's outstanding reputation and values in serving our clients and customers.
In the 1960's and 1970's, Mr. Chozick personally owned and managed twenty two apartment buildings and operated apartments along with retail and office space. Throughout his 43 year career, Mr. Chozick has been involved in all aspects of the real estate business. Mr. Chozick has successfully negotiated and closed all property types with an extensive resume of completed sales. In 2009 he established the Delray Beach, Florida office.
Mr. Chozick holds a brokerage license in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Florida. He is a member of the Greater Hartford Board of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors and the Commercial Investment Division of the Capital Region. He also acted as a consultant to lending institutions in regard to REO property. In the 1960's Mr. Chozick owned a mechanical engraving company, a plastic distribution company and a plastic and steel fabrication company, providing him with a vast knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry.
Thomas Boyle
Broker
Tom Boyle has been licensed as a Connecticut Real Estate Broker since 1973 specializing in the area of commercial and investment real estate. Mr. Boyle has had considerable experience in the sale of all categories of income producing property including apartment complexes, office, retail and industrial properties throughout Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. Tom has also completed substantial real estate development transactions and has a working knowledge and personal experience in all aspects of planning, zoning, building, land subdivision, development and construction. His experience includes bringing raw land through the development process from zoning approval through completion of construction as a hands on land developer.
Direct participation in all phases of real estate as a principal, agent, owner and manager has given Mr. Boyle a varied perspective and practical approach to completing real estate transactions. Aside from the traditional role of acting as a seller's broker, Mr. Boyle has concluded substantial real estate transactions in the capacity of Buyer Broker, including numerous transactions with lending institutions, the FCID, RECOLL Management and other institutional sellers of real estate.
Mr. Boyle holds Bachelor's Masters and Jurist Doctorate Degrees and has been a member of the Connecticut Bar since 1980 as well as being a licensed Connecticut Real Estate Broker.
Steve Pappas
Agent
Steve Pappas specializes in commercial and investment real estate brokerage. Mr. Pappas possesses an array of real estate knowledge from property inspection to real estate financing. Prior to joining Chozick Realty, Steve was a top producting loan officer, consistently within the top five producers in terms of mortgage loans closed, providing a depth of experience and knowledge related to lending and finance markets. Steve has a solid record of listing and closing investment properties and displays an inherent ability of exhibiting professionalism and tenacity in completing all of his assignments.
Steve served our Country spending seven years as an active duty member of the United States Army and obtaining a rank of Sergeant Class E-5. Mr. Pappas managed more than 30 service members engaged in mission orientation, equipment service and administrative military endeavors. Steve has twice been awarded the Army Accommodation Medal.
Mr. Pappas holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a Major in Business Management from the University of Connecticut.
Martin Levitz
Martin Levitz has been a licensed Connecticut real estate broker since 1958 specializing in industrial and commercial real estate. Mr. Levitz has had substantial real estate experience as an owner and developer of all categories of commercial property including retail, office, industrial and multifamily complexes. He has first hand knowledge of all phases of real estate development including construction, planning, zoning and land subdivision as a hands on developer.
In addition to brokerage experience, Mr. Levitz was an active developer of several major projects in Connecticut including the Case and Marshall Paper Mill in East Hartford which was converted into the Powder Mill Center; the Bigelow Carpet Mills in Enfield; the Whitlock Manufacturing in West Hartford which was converted into office and retail; and the First National stores base distribution center in East Hartford.
Mr. Levitz has been a life long resident of the Hartford area. In the past he had owned a flight facility at Bradley International Airport and an air charter company in Hartford along with several other businesses in the State of Connecticut.
Ryan Perkoski
Ryan Perkoski specializes in the brokerage of multifamily and commercial properties throughout the State of Connecticut. Ryan is experienced with all phases of property brokerage from initial feasibility study and property valuation through marketing plans to offers and contract negotiation and closing. Ryan has built a reputation that relfects his hard driven approach to providing the highest level of service to his clients on both the buying and selling side of any transaction. Through his highly professional and tireless devotion to his clients, Ryan has developed a substantial and loyal client base.
In addition to Ryan's brokerage experience, Ryan previously apprenticed with a Connecticut Appraiser and has prior hands on experience in the construction industry. Ryan is OSHA certified, offering his clients practical experience in the building trade.
Ryan has a B.S. Degree in Communications from Eastern Connecticut State University. Mr. Perkoski holds a Connecticut Real Estate license as well as a Connecticut State Broker's license.
Penny Parker
Penny Parker has been a licensed real estate broker since 1989, specializing in retail, hospitality, office and multifamily properties. She has considerable experience in commercial and residential development and redevelopment, from acquisition to planning and zoning and tenant leasing. Besides representing sellers, she acts as a buyer's broker in numerous investment transactions.
Ms. Parker has been involved in diverse commercial transactions throughout the state of Connecticut and western Massachusetts. In southern Connecticut, she has brokered the sale of land for commercial retail centers and active adult communities. Penny has brokered sales of multifamily properties and residential subdivisions in New London, Middlesex and Hartford counties. Additionally she has experience of in the sale and leasing of restaurant and food related businesses and has represented both domestic and international investors in the acquisition of properties for 1031 tax exchange transactions.
Ms. Parker holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from Purdue University as well as a degree in Interior Design from the New York School of Interior Design.
Alan Goldberg
Alan Goldberg is a broker licensed in Florida, California, Virginia and Georgia. He specializes in the area of commercial and investment real estate sales, as well as subdivision, syndication and leasing. Mr. Goldberg has extensive experience in the sale and leasing of all categories of income producing properties.
Prior to joining Chozick Realty, Mr. Goldberg founded Veterans Associates Realtors located in Virginia, less than a mile from the Pentagon. While there he conducted business ranging from residential sales to governmental leasing. This included working with foreign embassies and a variety of federal bureaus and organizations. Alan served as a Franchise Sales Director for a Century 21 Regional Office, giving him first hand knowledge of franchised organizations and also served as a Business Consultant for the Caldwell Banker, serving New England and Upstate New York.
Arnold Fishman
Arnold Fishman has been a commercial real estate broker both in New York and in Florida for the past 25 years. His experience includes his time as Vice President of Real Estate for Auto Spa and PMA restaurants. As a broker, Arnold has represented buyers and tenants for all types of real estate needs, but most notably, retail spaces. His specialities lie in the auto aftermarket industry, the restaurant industry and the movie theater industry. To underline his retail background, Arnold is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
